Installing the WWAN card
Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
About this task
NOTE:The following steps are applicable only for computers that are shipped with a WWAN card.
The following image indicates the location of the WWAN card and provides a visual representation of the installation procedure.
Steps
- Align the notch on the WWAN card with the tab on the WWAN-card slot and slide the WWAN card at an angle into the WWAN-card slot.
- Connect the WWAN antenna cables to the connectors on the WWAN card.
- Align and place the WWAN-card bracket on the system board.
- Replace the screw (M2x3) to secure the WWAN card and WWAN-card bracket to the system board.
