Removing the Base Cover

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working On Your Computer.
  2. Remove the battery.
  3. Perform the following steps to remove the base cover from the computer:
    1. Remove the screws that secure the base cover to the computer.
    2. Pry the edges of the base cover and remove the base cover from the computer.
