Removing the Display Bezel

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
  2. Remove:
    1. battery
    2. SD card
    3. access panel
    4. memory module
    5. WLAN card
    6. hard drive
    7. optical drive
    8. keyboard
    9. palmrest
    10. system board
    11. display assembly
  3. Press the hinge covers on the side. Lift and remove the hinge covers from the computer.

  4. Pry the edges of the display bezel. Remove the display bezel from the computer.
