Procedure

  1. Align the screw holes on the system board with the screw holes on the display assembly.
  2. Replace the screws that secure the system board to the display assembly.
  3. Place the I/O bracket on the system board.
  4. Adhere the foil that secures the system board to the display assembly.
  5. Slide the microphone cable, front-camera cable, and rear-camera cable into the connectors on the system board and close the latches.
  6. Connect the speaker cable, I/O-board cable, and coin-cell battery cable to the system board.
  7. Slide the touch-screen board cable and display cable into the connectors on the system board and close the latches.
  8. Place the tablet bezel on the display assembly and snap the tablet bezel into place.
  9. Replace the screws that secure the tablet bezel to the display assembly.
  10. Connect the docking port ribbon cable and docking port cable to the system board.
