Removing the Display Panel

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
  2. Remove:
    1. battery
    2. display bezel
  3. Remove the screws that secure the display panel and flip the panel over.

  4. Perform the following steps:
    1. Lift the mylar tape and disconnect the low-voltage differential signaling (LVDS) cable from the back of the display panel.
    2. Remove the display panel from the display assembly.
