Installing the SmartCard-Reader Board

  1. Place the SmartCard-reader board into its slot on the palmrest.
  2. Tighten the screws to secure the SmartCard-reader board to the palmrest.
  3. Fix the SmartCard-reader cable and connect the SmartCard-reader cable to its connector on the USH board.
  4. Install the:
    1. palmrest

    2. keyboard

    3. keyboard trim

    4. battery

    5. base cover

  5. Follow the procedures in After Working Inside Your Computer .
