Installing the System Board

  1. Place the system board to align with the screw holders on the computer.
  2. Tighten the screws to secure the system board to the computer.
  3. Connect the speaker cable to its connector on the system and route the cable through its routing channels.
  4. Install the:
    1. display assembly

    2. display-hinge brackets

    3. palmrest

    4. keyboard

    5. keyboard trim

    6. hard-drive assembly

    7. memory

    8. battery

    9. base cover

    10. SD card

  5. Follow the procedures in After Working Inside Your Computer .
