Removing the WLAN card

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer .
  2. Remove the:
    1. base cover

    2. battery

  3. To remove the WLAN card:
    1. Remove the screw that secures the metal bracket to the WLAN card [1].
    2. Remove the metal bracket [2].
    3. Disconnect the WLAN cables from the connectors on the WLAN card [3].
    4. Unroute the WLAN cables from the routing channel.
    5. Remove the WLAN card from the computer [4].
