Installing the System Board

Steps

  1. Place the system board to align with the ports on the computer.
  2. Tighten the screws to secure the system board.
  3. Connect the following cables to the system board:
    1. speaker
    2. WiFi-switch
  4. Install:
    1. ExpressCard cage
    2. VGA board
    3. processor
    4. heatsink
    5. WWAN card
    6. WLAN card
    7. memory
    8. coin-cell battery
    9. power connector
    10. base-corner cover
    11. base cover
    12. display-hinge cap
    13. optical drive
    14. hard drive
    15. keyboard
    16. battery
    17. ExpressCard
    18. SD card
