Removing the Power Connector

Steps

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside your computer.
  2. Remove:
    1. battery
    2. base-corner cover (right)
    3. base cover
  3. Perform the following steps as shown in the illustration:
    1. Disconnect the power-connector cable from the system board.
    2. Release the power-connector cable from the routing channel.
    3. Remove the screw that secures the power-connector bracket to the computer.

  4. Lift the power-connector bracket from the computer. Lift the power connector from the computer.
