Removing the WiFi-Switch Board

Steps

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside your computer.
  2. Remove:
    1. SD card
    2. ExpressCard
    3. battery
    4. keyboard
    5. display-hinge cap
    6. base cover
    7. base-corner cover
    8. palmrest assembly
  3. Perform the following steps as shown in the illustration:
    1. Disconnect the cable from the system board.
    2. Remove the screw that secures the WiFi-switch board and lift it from the computer.
