Removing the speakers

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer .
  2. Remove the:
    1. base cover

    2. battery

  3. To remove the speaker:
    1. Disconnect the speaker cable from the connector on the system board [1].
    2. Unroute the speaker cable from the routing clips on the touchpad and the computer [2].
    3. Remove the screws that connect the speaker to the computer [3].
    4. Remove the speaker from the computer [4] .
