TLV Subtype Description
Link aggregation 7

  • Indicates whether the link associated with the port on which the LLDPDU is transmitted is aggregated.

  • Provides the aggregated port identifier.

Port VLAN ID 1 Untagged VLAN to which a port belongs.
Protocol identity 4 Not supported.
VLAN name 3

Allows an IEEE 802.1Q-compatible device to advertise the assigned name of any VLAN with which it is configured.

NOTE: By default, VLAN name TLV will be disabled.

TLV Subtype Description
MAC/PHY configuration/status 1

Indicates:

  • Duplex and bit rate capability and the current duplex and bit rate settings of the sending device.

  • Whether the current settings are due to auto-negotiation or manual configuration.

Power through MDI 2 Not supported.
Maximum frame size 4 Maximum frame size capability of the MAC and PHY.
