ptp role

Configures the interface to operate in master, slave, or dynamic role.

Syntax
ptp role {dynamic | master | slave}
Parameters
  • master—Enables master role only on the interface
  • slave—Enables slave role only on the interface
  • dynamic—Enables dynamic role on the interface. The interface can be a master or slave based on the best master clock algorithm (BMCA).

Usage Information
If the configuration conflicts with unicast transport mode, this command returns an error. The no form of this command removes the configuration.
