Compliance and Profiles

After registering a vCenter, you must first discover a host, manage, and configure compliance under Compliance & Profiles.

1. In the Management Compliance section, you can perform the following tasks:

   • Discover host(s). For more information, see Discover Host(s) devices monitored by OMEVV .
   • Refresh. For more information, see View latest status of a host.
   • Fix compliance. For more information, see Fix Compliance for noncompliant hosts.
   • Run inventory. For more information, see Run Inventory on hosts.
   • Manage. For more information, see Manage host devices.

2. In the Baseline Compliance section, you can view information related to firmware compliance and view drift report. To know more about identifying if a device complies to a baseline profile, see Baseline Compliance.

3. In the Profiles section, you can create, edit, view, and delete Baseline Profile and Repository Profile. To know more about Profiles, see Baseline Profile, Repository Profile .
