The requirements for the managed systems are as follows:

NOTE iDRAC versions are not applicable for Storage and network switches.

If you are using SNMP protocol, ensure that SNMP is configured in the respective devices.
If you want to receive SNMP traps in the Nagios Core console, ensure that you configure the SNMP trap destination in the respective devices.
