Removing the PS2 and Serial Connector Board

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer.
  2. Remove the cover.
  3. Perform the following steps as shown in the illustration:
    1. Disconnect the cable from the PS2 and serial connector board [1].
    2. Remove the screws that secure the PS2 and serial connector board to the base panel [2].
    3. Slide and lift the PS2 and serial connector board away from the computer [3].
