Removing the Speaker
- Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer.
- Remove the:
- Perform the following steps as shown in the illustration:
- Unthread the speaker cables from the cable clips [1].
- Remove the screws that secure the speakers to the processor fan module [2].
- Lift the speakers away from the processor fan module [3].
NOTE: The speaker is a part of the processor fan module.
