Removing the WLAN Card

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. cover
    2. hard drive
  3. Perform the following steps as shown in the illustration:
    1. Remove the screw that secures the WLAN card to the system board [1].
    2. Remove the WLAN bracket from the system board [2].
    3. Disconnect the WLAN cables [3].
    4. Slide the WLAN card from the system board [4].
