Installing optical drive

  1. To install the optical drive:
    1. Insert the optical drive into the optical drive bay until it clicks into place.
      Installing ODD
    2. Open the front panel door [1].
    3. Route the cables under the drive cage.
    4. Connect the optical drive data cable and power cable to the connectors on the optical drive [2].

  2. Install the:
    1. Front bezel
    2. Side cover
  3. Follow the procedure in After working inside your computer.
