Removing coin cell battery

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. Side cover
    2. Front bezel
  3. Open the front panel door.
  4. To remove the coin cell battery:
    1. Press the release latch until the coin cell battery pops out [1].
    2. Remove the coin cell battery from the connector on the system board [2].

      NOTE Removing the coin cell battery may reset the system board BIOS/Settings
