Removing 3.5–inch hard drive assembly

Steps

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. cover
    2. bezel
  3. To remove the hard drive assembly:
    1. Disconnect the hard drive assembly cables from the connectors on the hard drive.

    2. Press the blue tab [1] and pull the hard drive assembly out of the computer [ 2].
