Removing the 2.5–inch drive assembly

Steps

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. cover
    2. bezel
  3. Open the front panel door.
  4. To remove the drive assembly:
    1. Disconnect the drive assembly cables from the connectors on the drive [1].
    2. Press the blue tabs on both sides [2] and pull the drive assembly out of the computer [3].
