Removing speaker

NOTE:Depending on the configuration you order, you may see either of the heat sinks as shown in the image below.

Heat sink

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. cover
    2. bezel
    3. 2.5–inch drive assembly
    4. optical drive
  3. To remove the speaker:
    1. Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board [1].
    2. Press the release tabs and pull the speaker out from the computer [2] [3].
