Removing the M.2 PCIe SSD

NOTE:Depending on the configuration you order, you may see either of the heat sinks as shown in the image below.

Heat sink

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. cover
    2. bezel
    3. 2.5–inch drive assembly
    4. optical drive
  3. To remove the M.2 PCIe SSD:
    1. Pull the blue tab to release the M.2 PCIe SSD .
    2. Disconnect the M.2 PCIe SSD from the SSD connector.
