Installing the air shroud
Prerequisites
- Follow the safety guidelines listed in Safety instructions.
- Follow the procedure listed in Before working inside your system.
NOTE Route the cable properly to prevent the cable from being pinched or crimped.
Steps
- Align the tabs on the air shroud with the slots on the system.
- Lower the air shroud into the system until it is firmly seated.When firmly seated, the memory socket numbers marked on the air shroud align with the respective memory sockets.

- Align the guide slots on the NVLink air shroud with the screws on the graphics heat sink.
- Lower the NVLink air shroud into the NVLink board until it is firmly seated.
