- Message
- A Downstream Port Containment event was detected on the CXL device at PCIE segment arg1, slot arg2.
- Arguments
- arg1 = seg
- arg2 = slot
- Detailed Description
- An error has triggered a Downstream Port Containment event on the CXL device at the location identified in the message. The operating system is automatically notified about this to make an attempt to recover from the issue.
- Recommended Response Action
- Do the following: 1) Make sure the device, BIOS, and iDRAC are updated to the latest firmware. 2) Perform an AC power-cycle operation on the server by doing the following: a) Disconnect the power cords. b) Wait 30 seconds. c) Reconnect the power cords. 3) If the issue persists, Collect a SupportAssist collection (TSR) report using iDRAC.
