Detailed Description

Recommended Response Action
Make sure that the IOMs of the same type occupy the same slot pair in a chassis.

Detailed Description
The MX7116n Fabric Expander Module validation failed because the MX7116n Fabric Expander Module slot number and the Network IOM slot number are different.
Recommended Response Action
Make sure that the slot number of the MX7116n Fabric Expander Module and the slot number of the Network IOM are the same like (A or B) [1]----(A or B) [1] and (A or B) [2]----(A or B) [2]. Mezz cards can be different either A or B but slot number should be same.
