BOSS-N1 module kit

The BOSS-N1 module supports up to two M.2 NVMe SSDs.

Before you begin the installation or removal process, follow the safety guidelines and before working inside the system instructions.

BOSS-N1 signal cable for mother board (270 mm) 1
BOSS-N1 power cable for mother board (305 mm) 1
NOTE:*The quantity depends on the purchase order.
NOTE:The quantity depends on the BOSS-N1 card carrier.

To remove the BOSS blank :

  1. Power off the system
  2. Pull the BOSS N1 blank out of the system to remove it.

To install the BOSS-N1 module:

  1. To install the BOSS-N1 module , see Install the BOSS N1 module .
NOTE:Refer to cable routing section for BOSS N1 cable connections.
NOTE:Installing the BOSS-N1 card carrier does not require the system to be powered off. System shutdown is only required when installing the BOSS-N1 controller card module.
NOTE:BOSS N1 module cannot be installed if the system has an internal adapter PERC card installed.
