Removing the cooling fan cage assembly

Prerequisites

  1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions.
  2. Follow the procedure listed in the Before working inside your system.
  3. If installed, remove the air shroud.

Steps

  1. Lift the blue release levers to unlock the cooling fan cage from the system.
  2. Hold the release levers, and lift the cooling fan cage away from the system.
