Removing the PERC card

Prerequisites

  1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in safety instructions.
  2. Follow the procedure listed in the Before working inside your system.
  3. Remove the expander module.
  4. Remove the PERC riser.
  5. Disconnect all the cables from the PERC card.

Steps

Hold the PERC card by its edges, and pull the card until the card edge connector disengages from the connector on the PERC riser.
