Removing the PERC riser board

Prerequisites

  1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in safety instructions.
  2. Follow the procedure listed in the Before working inside your system.
  3. Remove the expander module.
  4. Remove the PERC card.

Steps

  1. Using the Phillips #2 screwdriver, remove the two screws that secure the PERC riser board to the PERC riser.
  2. Pull the PERC riser board from the riser.
