Installing the right control panel
Prerequisites
- Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions.
- Follow the procedure listed in Before working inside your system.
- Remove the rear support bracket.
- Remove the air shroud.
- Remove the cooling fans.
- Remove the cooling fan assembly.
Steps
- Align and slide the right control panel into the slot on the system.
- Route the right control panel cable through the side wall of the system.
- Align and slide the right control panel cable cover in the slot on the system. NOTE:Route the cable properly to prevent the cable from being pinched or crimped.
- Using the Torx 8 screwdriver, tighten the screws that secure the right control
panel and the cable cover to the system.

- Using the Phillips 1 screwdriver, tighten the screws that secure the right
control panel bracket to the system.

- Connect the right control panel cable and VGA cable to the connectors on the system board.

- Install the cooling fan assembly.
- Install the cooling fans.
- Install the air shroud.
- Install the rear support bracket.
- Follow the procedure listed in the After working inside your system.
