Recommended tools
You may need some or all the following
tools to perform the removal and installation procedures:
- Key to the bezel lock. The key is required only if your system includes a bezel.
- Phillips 1 screwdriver
- Phillips 2 screwdriver
- Torx T6 screwdriver
- Torx T8 screwdriver
- Torx T30 screwdriver
- Torx T15 screwdriver
- ESD-Safe Torque screwdriver (for T15, Phillips 1, or Phillips 2)
- Lift kit (for system installation/removal from the rack, or for use when the GPU tray is installed higher than 24U)
- Plastic scribe
- 1/4-inch flat blade screwdriver
- Wrist grounding strap that is connected to the ground
- ESD mat
- Needle-nose pliers
