Removing the OCP card

Prerequisites

  1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions.
  2. Follow the procedure listed in the Before working inside your system.
  3. Remove the rear support bracket.
  4. Remove the air shroud.
  5. Remove the PSU.
  6. Observe and disconnect the cables from the connectors on the power distribution board.
  7. Remove the PSU cage.
  8. Remvoing the BOSS-N1 cage

Steps

  1. Press the blue tabs on either sides of the OCP shroud, and lift the OCP shroud out of the system.

  2. Release the blue latch to disengage the OCP card.
  3. Push the OCP card toward the rear end of the system to disconnect from the connector on the system board.
  4. Slide the OCP card out of the slot on the system.

  5. If the OCP card is not going to be replaced, install a filler bracket .

    NOTE:OCP Filler bracket is installed post installation of BOSS cage.
