Right Control Panel (RCP)
The right control panel encompasses many of the features that are no longer supported by the left control panel.

| 3 | Type-C for iDRAC Direct | N/A | The USB port is 4-pin, 2.0-compliant. This port enables you to connect USB devices to
the system or use it as iDRAC direct port. The iDRAC
direct Type C USB port can be used by connecting Dell USB-C to
2.5 Gbps Ethernet Adapter dongle (DP/N : HYRGV).
Once connected, the laptop would be assigned IP 169.254.0.4
automatically and user will now be able to access iDrac
webGUI/ssh. NOTE:To configure the Type-C
USB port as iDRAC management port see iDRAC10 User
Guide. |
| 4 | Light bar | N/A | The light bar shows the overall system health LED (Chassis health and system ID) bar to indicate and identify any failed HW components. Indicates the system health. For more information, see the System health and system ID indicator codes section. The LED behavior is broken in two subsets, “light bar” and “status LEDs.” The light bar also functions as button(s). The upper half of the light bar is “Chassis Health” that will also function as “System ID” when pressed. The lower half of the light bar is the “Wireless activation button.” |

button to manually power on or off the system. NOTE:Press the power
button to gracefully shut down the ACPI-compliant operating
system. |
NOTE:To ensure accurate inlet temperature readings, remove the mylar film from the holes under the USB port (item 3) and avoid blocking these holes with labels or other materials.
