Removing power module assembly
Prerequisites
- Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions.
- Remove the rear cover.
- Remove the sleds.
- Remove the witness sled.
- Remove the power supply units.
Steps
- Using a Phillips 2 screwdriver, loosen the captive screw.
- Pull the power tray along with the power module assembly (PDB) from the chassis.
NOTE:The numbers on the image do not depict the exact steps. The numbers are for representation of sequence.NOTE:Support the power tray with both hands while sliding it out of the chassis.NOTE:The Service Tag transfer is required after Power Module Assembly is replaced.
