Removing the PCIe-Card Retention

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer.
  2. Remove:
    1. computer cover
    2. PCIe cards
  3. Perform the following steps as shown in the illustration:
    1. Unthread the cable from the clips [1].
    2. Press and slide the latch out to release the PCIe-card retention [2].
    3. Remove the PCIe-card retention out of the computer [3].
