Upgrade overview
Upgrade the system by downloading the required upgrade package and then upgrading the relevant system components.
You can use the vSphere plugin ( screen), API, or CLI (get_versions command) to determine what version of system is currently installed.
In general, upgrading includes the following activities:
- Download the upgrade package.
- Upgrade the vRPA clusters.
- Upgrade the splitter filters.
- Upgrade the JIRAF.
- Upgrade the plugin.
You may upgrade the plugin server whenever a later version of the plugin server is available.
When you upgrade , all existing settings are preserved. There is no journal loss and no full sweep.
