Multiprotocol access policy mapping

VNX access policies are mapped to three types of access policies in Unity.

NOTE: Access policies differences can affect client access during migration.

Multiprotocol migration does not support the following:

  • NT to UNIX
  • UNIX to Windows

The following table shows the range of access policies that are set on both the source and target sides when migrating VDMs from VNX to Unity:
