Removing the Display Bezel

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
  2. Remove:
    1. battery

    2. optical-disk drive

    3. access panel

    4. hard drive

    5. memory module

    6. keyboard

    7. system board

    8. display assembly

  3. Perform the following steps as shown in the illustration:
    1. Place the display panel on a stable surface and pry along the edges of the display panel [1].
    2. Remove the display bezel from the computer [2].
