Plan network settings for VMware vCenter Server management network

You can assign virtual appliances an IP address on a separate subnet and the subnet assigned a separate VLAN.

If you plan to deploy the virtual management components into a subnet that is separate from the VMware ESXi hosts, make a note of the network properties.
