List of connections

On the Zero Toolbar, you can click the Home icon to open your list of assigned connections. Sometimes, the list contains only default connections.

Use the following guidelines depending on user privilege level, some options may not be available for use:

Table 1. Connection optionsThe following table lists the connection options:
Option What It Does
Name of the connection Opens the connection you want to use.

NOTE: : All open connections display a blue icon to the left of the connection name in the list.

Reset icon Resets the connection.

NOTE: : It is useful when a connection is not functioning properly or you need to reboot the connection.

Close icon Closes the connection.

NOTE: : The Close icon is grayed out for connections that are not open.

Edit icon Opens the Connection Settings dialog box to change the connection options.

NOTE: : Depending on user privilege level, editing options may not be available for use.

Add Connection Allows you to configure or add new connections.
Configuring Global Connection Settings If you do not use INI files to provide global connection settings, you can click Global Connection Settings to open and use the Global Connection Settings dialog box to configure settings that affect all the connection in the list.
