Prerequisites

  1. Remove the base cover.
  2. Remove the battery.
  3. Remove the speakers.
  4. Remove the display assembly.
  5. Remove the headset port.
  6. Replace the fans (i3 processor only).
  7. Replace the heat sink (i3 processor only) or heat-sink and fan assembly (i5/i7 processor only).
  8. Remove the system board.
  9. Remove the power button with fingerprint reader.
  10. Remove the keyboard.
