Removing the front cover

Prerequisites

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the left-side cover.

Steps

  1. Gently pry and release the front-cover tabs from the top, working down sequentially to the bottom-left tab.
  2. Swing the front cover outwards, away from the chassis, and remove the cover.
