CAUTION:Clearing CMOS settings resets the BIOS settings on your computer.

Steps

  1. Disconnect the battery cable as instructed in Removing the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
  2. Wait for one minute.
  3. Reconnect the battery cable to the system board.
  4. Replace the Palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
