Removing the wireless-antenna module

Prerequisites

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the Palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
  3. Remove the Display assembly.
  4. Remove the Thermal fans.
  5. Remove the Heat sink.
  6. Remove the System board.

Steps

  1. Remove the six screws securing the wireless-antenna module to the base cover.
  2. Lift the wireless-antenna module off the base cover.
