Removing the wireless-module shield

Prerequisites

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the Palm-rest and keyboard assembly.

Steps

  1. Remove the screw (M2x3) that secures the wireless-module shield to the system board.
  2. Lift the wireless-module shield off the system board.
  3. Disconnect the antenna cables from the wireless module, if required.
    NOTE:The wireless module is integrated on the system board and not replaceable.
