Checkpointing

Allows different types of checkpointing to resume at the last point following a restart. After the system restarts, background checkpointing resumes at its most recent checkpoint.

Three types of checkpointing are available:

  • Consistency Check (CC)
  • Background Initialization (BGI)
  • Rebuild
