Procedure

  1. Remove the screw (M2x3) that secures the power-adapter port to the palm-rest assembly.
  2. Note the power-adapter port cable routing and remove the cable from the routing guide on the palm-rest assembly.
  3. Lift the power-adapter port off the palm-rest assembly.
